PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Two drivers sustained minor injuries in a crash Wednesday afternoon in Odessa that involved an overturned vehicle colliding with an apartment building.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 3:56 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 54 and Gunn Highway.
A Land Rover Range Rover, driven by a 78-year-old woman from Odessa, was traveling westbound on the private drive of 13589 SR-54, approaching Gunn Highway. A Ford van, driven by a 21-year-old Tampa woman, was traveling southbound on Gunn Highway.

The driver of the Range Rover failed to yield the right of way while crossing Gunn Highway and was struck by the Ford van. The impact caused the van to come to rest in the roadway, while the Range Rover veered off the road, striking a rock wall and a tree.
The Range Rover then overturned and ultimately collided with air conditioning units at an apartment building at 1470 Long Spur.
Both drivers were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
