MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – Two individuals were cited for wildlife violations in separate incidents over the weekend in the Florida Keys.
On Sunday, February 2nd, at approximately 10:00 a.m., 36-year-old Roberto Bahamondez of Miami was cited at the Channel Two Bridge for possessing two undersized mutton snapper. He was issued a mandatory notice to appear in court.

The previous evening, Saturday, February 1st, at approximately 9:32 p.m., 19-year-old Jeremiah John Hemingway of Orlando was cited during a traffic stop on U.S. 1 near Mile Marker 54 for possessing two undersized lobsters. He was also issued a mandatory notice to appear in court.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) enforces size limits for various species to protect marine resources and ensure sustainable fishing practices. Possessing undersized fish or lobster is a violation of these regulations.
