TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man in connection with a shooting that left two women with serious injuries.
On January 26, 2025, at approximately 3:40 a.m., deputies responded to a reported shooting in the 1100 block of Fowler Avenue in Tampa. Upon arrival, they found two female victims, each with a gunshot wound. Both victims were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Through investigative efforts, detectives determined that an altercation had occurred and identified Addy Ortuno Arroyo, 20, as the suspect involved in the shooting.
Ortuno Arroyo was arrested on January 30, 2025, and taken into custody without incident. He faces a series of charges, including:
- Discharge of a Firearm in Public or on Residential Property
- Aggravated Battery with Great Bodily Harm or Deadly Weapon Firearm – Discharge (2 counts)
- Attempted Murder in the First-Degree Premeditated Firearm – Great Bodily Harm (2 counts)
- Attempted Murder in the First-Degree Premeditated Firearm – Discharge
- Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
