TAMPA, Fla. – Starting at 9 a.m. today, the southbound lane of North Armenia Avenue between West Braddock Street and West Leroy Street will be closed to traffic. The Tampa Water Department is returning to the area to complete a more permanent restoration following earlier repairs to a water main break.

Barricades and signage have been placed to guide drivers and maintain traffic flow. Motorists are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the area, as lane closure modifications may be required as the work progresses.

The restoration work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, at which time the lane will reopen for normal traffic. However, the schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.

The Tampa Water Department appreciates the public’s patience and understanding as crews work to ensure the road is safely restored. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during this period.
