Hillsborough Sheriff Seeks Public’s Help In Locating Human Trafficking Suspect

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Vinay Linginedi, 30, who is wanted on multiple charges related to human trafficking and soliciting illegal acts involving a minor.

Linginedi is facing a series of serious charges, including:

  • Failure to Appear: Human Trafficking for Commercial Sexual Activity (Victim < 18)
  • Failure to Appear: Use of Computer Services or Devices to Solicit Certain Illegal Acts
  • Failure to Appear: Traveling to Meet a Minor After Using Computer Services/Devices to Solicit Certain Illegal Acts
  • Failure to Appear: Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device

These charges suggest that Linginedi is accused of using online platforms to solicit and engage in sexual activity with a minor. His failure to appear in court further indicates an attempt to evade justice.
