POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Lake Hamilton man wanted on a series of violent charges out of Orange County has been arrested in Polk County.
40-year-old Tamergine Howard was taken into custody by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on Friday morning, January 17th, around 9:30 AM.

Howard was wanted on six outstanding warrants from Orange County, including:
- Attempted murder with a firearm
- Robbery with a firearm
- Aggravated battery with a firearm
- Armed burglary with a firearm
- Aggravated assault with a firearm
- Tampering with evidence
Despite the serious nature of the charges against him, Howard surrendered peacefully to deputies when they located him in Lake Hamilton.
Howard was transported to the Polk County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Orange County to face the charges against him.
