PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is partnering with several community organizations to host a free food distribution event today in Lacoochee.
The event is taking place at the Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee. It began at 9:00 AM and will continue while supplies last. Food is being distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so those in need are encouraged to arrive as soon as possible.
This initiative is a collaborative effort, bringing together the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, Pasco Sheriff’s Charities, Farm Share, Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, the Gentlemen’s Course, Samaritan Corporation of Pasco County Inc., and the Pasco County NAACP.

Food insecurity is a pressing issue for many families in Pasco County. This food distribution event aims to alleviate some of the burden and ensure that residents have access to nutritious food.
