HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday night at a Circle K convenience store.
Deputies responded to the store, located at 11755 County Road 579 in Thonotosassa, shortly after 8:30 PM on January 15th, following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is withholding the victim’s identity until his next of kin have been notified.
Detectives are actively working to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting and gather information about potential suspects.
