SEMINOLE, Fla. – A Seminole man has been arrested on charges of possessing and transmitting child pornography.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children Unit launched an investigation on August 15th, 2024, after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared online.

Through investigative techniques, detectives identified 36-year-old Austin Steele as the suspect.
According to detectives, the images involved children between the ages of two and ten years old.
On Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, Steele was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of transmission of child pornography.
Steele was booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
