TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a string of credit card fraud incidents that began in November 2024.

The suspect, described as a black male in his early 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, 235 pounds with a stocky build, has been using stolen credit cards to make unauthorized purchases at various locations throughout the city.

Detectives have gathered video and photo evidence of the suspect making fraudulent purchases at several businesses, including:

  • International Mall
  • Publix in Tampa Palms
  • Walmart in Tampa Palms
  • 7-Eleven in Tampa Palms

In many instances, the suspect used the stolen credit cards to purchase gift cards.

Anyone with information that could lead to the identification of the suspect is urged to contact the Tampa Police Department at 813-231-6130. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the TampaPD app or by contacting Crimestoppers of Tampa Bay at 800.873.TIPS.
