PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – With a blast of frigid air hitting the region, Pasco County is opening a cold weather shelter to provide a warm and safe haven for those without adequate housing.
The shelter will be open Tuesday night, January 7th, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 AM Wednesday morning at the Shady Hills Mission Chapel in Spring Hill.

The extreme cold expected this week can be dangerous, particularly for children, the elderly, and pets. Pasco County officials are urging residents to take precautions to stay warm and safe.
