Spring Hill Man Dies In Christmas Morning Crash In Pasco County

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 39-year-old man from Spring Hill lost his life early Christmas morning following a single-vehicle crash on Banbury Avenue, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred around 6:33 a.m. on December 25, 2024. The man was driving a Ford Explorer eastbound on Banbury Avenue when he failed to navigate a curve west of Gatun Street.

The vehicle veered off the roadway, striking several trees before coming to a stop.

Emergency responders transported the driver to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Authorities have not released the identity of the driver pending notification of his family.
