CLEARWATER, Fla. – Crews from Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a house fire at 1479 Franklin Street early Tuesday morning, successfully extinguishing the blaze before it could spread to neighboring homes.
At approximately 4:30 AM, firefighters were dispatched to a single-family residence where smoke and flames were visible upon arrival. The intense fire threatened nearby structures, prompting the call for a second alarm to prevent its spread.

Thanks to swift action, firefighters managed to contain and extinguish the fire before it caused damage to adjacent properties.
The two occupants of the home were treated on the scene and transported to a local hospital for a general evaluation. No further details about their condition have been released.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and authorities have not provided additional information at this time.
