Hudson Man Struck And Killed In Port Richey On US-19, South Of Sea Ranch Drive

PORT RICHEY, Fla. – A pedestrian was fatally injured in the early hours of Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle on US-19, south of Sea Ranch Drive.

The crash occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. when a 34-year-old Port Richey woman driving a Hyundai Tucson was traveling northbound on US-19.

A 40-year-old Hudson man attempted to cross the highway and entered the path of the vehicle. The pedestrian was struck and transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver and a passenger in the vehicle, a 34-year-old Spring Hill man, were not injured in the incident.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
