A 22-year-old Florida man was arrested twice within a ten-day period in Fort Myers for driving without a valid license.
Brian Gomez-Chavez’s first arrest occurred on December 13th when he was pulled over for speeding. Deputies discovered that his license was revoked and that he was a habitual traffic offender.
Just ten days later, Gomez-Chavez was again stopped by deputies for failing to stop at an intersection. He was once again arrested for driving without a valid license.

Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno expressed frustration with the repeated offenses, stating that his deputies will not tolerate reckless driving that endangers the public.
“This reckless driver should have learned from his first arrest, and was given ample time to fix the situation,” said Marceno. “My deputies and traffic unit have zero tolerance for anyone who puts other drivers at risk and will not stop until our roads are safe.”
