PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A lucky Dade City resident, Debra Maffett, recently claimed a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery’s $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR Scratch-Off game.
She opted to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.
Maffett purchased her winning ticket at a Publix located at 11830 U.S. Highway 301 in Dade City. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The $50 Scratch-Off game offers a variety of prizes, including two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million.
