HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a wanted sex offender who has failed to comply with registration requirements.

Detectives are searching for 54-year-old Joseph Bond, who is facing multiple charges related to his failure to properly register as a sex offender. Specifically, Bond is charged with:

  • Failure of Sex Offender who Maintains Transient Residence to Report Every 30 Days (x5 counts)
  • Failure of Sex Offender to Report Quarterly (x2 counts)

Sex offenders are required by law to regularly update their information with authorities, including any changes in address or living situation. Bond’s alleged failure to comply with these requirements poses a potential risk to public safety.

The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information on Bond’s whereabouts to contact them immediately at 813-247-8200.
