A lucky Florida man is $1 million richer after winning big on a $50 Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket.

Peter Dziadul, 54, claimed his prize from the 500X THE CASH game at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time lump sum payment of $640,000.

Dziadul purchased his winning ticket at Reliance Food Mart on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North in St. Petersburg. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the lucky ticket.

The 500X THE CASH game boasts a top prize of $25 million, the largest ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off game. It also offers excellent odds of becoming an instant millionaire, with overall odds of winning at 1-in-4.23.
