POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A woman’s attempt to mislead Polk County deputies about a suspicious incident landed her in jail and on a one-way trip to Minnesota to face outstanding charges.
On Saturday, November 30th, around 11:00 PM, 45-year-old Rhiannon Brozek reported a suspicious incident on Chalet Suzanne Road near Lake Wales. She initially claimed she was being followed by unknown individuals.

However, Brozek’s story quickly unraveled under questioning by the responding deputy. It became clear that she had fabricated the incident after an argument with her boyfriend.
While no charges were filed regarding the false report, a routine check revealed that Brozek had an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of Isanti County, Minnesota. She was wanted for violating probation on a grand theft charge.

Brozek was arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail, where she awaits extradition to Minnesota to face the charges against her.
