MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A routine traffic stop on U.S. 1 in the Florida Keys led to the arrest of a Summerland Key man on cocaine trafficking charges.

Werlin Martinez Arredondo, 43, was pulled over near Mile Marker 99 around 8:10 p.m. on Saturday. During the stop, a search of his Jeep revealed approximately 57.5 grams of cocaine.

Arredondo was arrested and charged with cocaine trafficking. This serious charge reflects the significant amount of cocaine found in his possession, indicating an intent to distribute.
