TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa should be aware of lane closures on North 15th Street and East 17th Avenue beginning at 4 p.m. today due to a water main break.
The Tampa Water Department will be repairing the break, necessitating the closure of the outside northbound lane on North 15th Street between East 17th Avenue and East 18th Avenue. Additionally, the outside westbound turning lane on East 17th Avenue will be closed between North 15th Street and North 16th Street.

Barricades and signs will be in place to direct traffic. Drivers are urged to exercise caution in the area.
The repairs are expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3rd, with normal traffic patterns resuming at that time. However, the Tampa Water Department may need to return at a later date for additional work.
Work schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions.
