TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning (14-6-1) face off against the Washington Capitals (11-7-2) for the second time this season on Wednesday, November 27th at Amalie Arena. Puck drop is at 7:30 PM ET and the game will be televised on TNT and MAX.
The Lightning defeated the Capitals 3-0 in their first meeting of the season back on October 26th. Andrei Vasilevskiy recorded a shutout with 31 saves, and goals were scored by Conor Geekie, Mitchell Chaffee, and Brayden Point.
The Lightning have the 8th-ranked power play (23.0%) while the Capitals boast the 3rd-ranked penalty kill (85.5%). Special teams play could be a major factor in this matchup.

Limiting scoring opportunities for Ovechkin will be crucial for the Lightning defense.
