PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers in the Tampa Bay area should be aware of upcoming nighttime closures on Interstate 275 and State Road 690.
I-275 Express Lane Closures:
- When: Monday, December 2nd through Friday, December 6th, from 11 PM to 5 AM.
- Impact: Both northbound and southbound Express Lanes will be closed.
- Detour: Use the general-use (free) lanes of I-275.

SR 690 Ramp Closures:
- Eastbound SR 690 to Northbound I-275: The Express Lane entrance ramp will be closed. Use the general-use entrance ramp to the free lanes of I-275.
- Southbound US 19 to Eastbound SR 690: The exit ramp will be closed. Use the Ulmerton Road exit, then take Frontage Road south to 118th Avenue North, and then turn left onto 118th Avenue North to access SR 690.
- Westbound SR 690 to Northbound US 19: The exit ramp will be closed. Use the 118th Avenue North exit, then take Frontage Road north to access US 19.
These closures are necessary for ongoing construction and maintenance projects. Drivers are advised to plan their routes accordingly and allow extra time for travel during these periods.
