MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. – The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a violent home invasion that targeted an elderly resident.

The incident occurred on Sunday, November 3rd, when an elderly man was awakened by noises in his living room. Upon confronting the intruder, the suspect violently attacked the victim and stole his medically prescribed marijuana. Detectives believe the suspect may have been specifically seeking prescription medications.

The suspect is described as a Black male in his 20s with a beard. He was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt, black shorts, and black slides.
