The state Elections Canvassing Commission officially certified the results of the November 5 elections on Tuesday, finalizing a strong Republican showing.
The commission, comprised of Governor Ron DeSantis, Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson, and Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, approved the certification without comment during a brief conference call.

Among the notable victories, President-elect Donald Trump secured Florida with a decisive margin, further cementing his path to the White House. U.S. Senator Rick Scott, R-Fla., was also re-elected, contributing to the GOP’s overall dominance in the state’s elections.
The certification marks the conclusion of a pivotal election, reinforcing Florida’s role as a Republican stronghold in the national political landscape.
