TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian crash that occurred Tuesday morning on Busch Boulevard.
The incident happened around 9:41 a.m. at the intersection of Busch Boulevard and 19th Street. Preliminary investigation indicates that the pedestrian was attempting to cross Busch Boulevard against oncoming traffic when they were struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Eastbound and westbound lanes of Busch Boulevard were temporarily closed between 20th Street and 18th Street while officers investigated the crash scene. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes.
