LAKELAND, Fla. – The Lakeland Fire Department (LFD) is bringing back its annual tradition of spreading holiday cheer! They’re collecting new, unwrapped toys for local children in need from November 18th to December 8th, 2024.
Here’s how you can help:
- Donate toys! Look for collection boxes at any Lakeland fire station or the LFD administration office. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference.
- Spread the word! Tell your friends, family, and neighbors about the toy drive and encourage them to donate.

Who benefits?
All the collected toys will be distributed to the Children’s Home Society of Florida and the Lakeland Dream Center, organizations dedicated to supporting Lakeland’s children and families.
“We are proud to continue this tradition of giving and are grateful to our community for their ongoing support,” said Fire Chief Doug Riley. “Each donation will help brighten the holidays for children in need, showing them they are supported and valued by their community.”
