Florida drivers saw some relief at the pump last week, with gas prices dipping close to the $3 per gallon mark. However, a slight rise brought the average price back up.
On Monday, November 4th, the state average price for gas was $3.01 per gallon. Prices then fluctuated, reaching a mid-week peak of $3.15 before declining again through the weekend.
According to Mark Jenkins, spokesperson for AAA – The Auto Club Group, the statewide average on Sunday settled at $3.11 per gallon. This represents a slight increase of 9 cents compared to the previous week.

Despite the price changes, Florida drivers are still paying more at the pump than they were a year ago.
While crude oil prices remained relatively stable last week, settling at $70.38 per barrel, other factors can influence gas prices at the local level.
