SPRING HILL, Fla. – A Spring Hill man is behind bars after being caught in an undercover operation targeting individuals seeking to sexually exploit children.
On November 6th, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office received information that Jon Paul Iadisernia, 32, was engaging in inappropriate online communications with a 13-year-old girl.

Detectives took over the victim’s social media account and continued communicating with Iadisernia, who sent numerous sexually suggestive messages and proposed meeting the minor at a Taco Bell on Spring Hill Drive. He further suggested they go back to his house to engage in sexual activity.
Iadisernia was arrested at the Taco Bell when he arrived to meet the “girl.” After being read his Miranda rights, he admitted to knowing the minor’s age but claimed he would only have sex with her if she were over 18.

He was charged with Traveling to Meet a Minor for Sex and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device to Facilitate a Felony. Iadisernia is being held at the Hernando County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
