A Florida man is $2 million richer after claiming a top prize from the Florida Lottery’s “$2,000,000 100X BONUS CASHWORD” scratch-off game.
Avery Leach, 57, of Jacksonville, chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,280,000. He purchased his lucky ticket from the Circle K located at 8820 103rd Street in Jacksonville. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The “$2,000,000 100X BONUS CASHWORD” is a $10 scratch-off game with eight top prizes of $2 million. Players have the chance to multiply their prize up to 100 times, with overall odds of winning any prize at 1-in-3.37.
Scratch-off games are a significant revenue generator for the Florida Lottery, making up approximately 74% of ticket sales.
