HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County businesses struggling to recover from Hurricanes Debby, Helene, and Milton now have access to a centralized hub for support and resources.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), in partnership with the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and SCORE, has launched a Business Recovery and Assessment Center (BRAC) in Tampa.

This “one-stop shop” provides businesses with:

  • Financial assistance: Access to SBA disaster loan programs.
  • Technical assistance: Guidance on rebuilding and strengthening businesses after a disaster.
  • Mentorship and coaching: Expert advice from experienced business mentors.
  • Funding strategies: Help with navigating funding options and developing recovery plans.

BRAC Location and Hours:

The BRAC is located at the Hillsborough County Entrepreneur Collaborative Center (ECC) at 2101 E. Palm Ave., Tampa, FL 33605.

Hours of operation are:

  • Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Sunday: Closed

Assistance Available:

SBA representatives and SBDC specialists are available on-site to help business owners with disaster loan applications, document review, and application status updates. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments can be scheduled in advance by calling (813) 204-9267.
