BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – A Brooksville man previously arrested for possession of child pornography is now facing additional charges after investigators identified two more victims in the case.
Cameron Michael Szada-Daubert, 23, was arrested on October 28th, 2024, and charged with 13 counts of showing obscene material to a minor, two counts of soliciting a child for unlawful sexual conduct, and two counts of unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
This arrest stems from an ongoing investigation that began in March 2023 when the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office received information about Szada-Daubert possessing child pornography. A search of his online accounts revealed multiple files of child sexual abuse material.

Further investigation uncovered that Szada-Daubert had created fake online identities to conceal his true identity while soliciting and exchanging explicit images with minors. He was communicating with at least 13 individuals, five of whom were identified as juvenile victims.
Szada-Daubert was initially arrested in May 2024 on charges related to child pornography and online solicitation. However, the discovery of two additional victims has led to these new charges.
“Sheriff Al Nienhuis has a zero tolerance for possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material,” said a spokesperson for the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office. “Any and all tips are, and will be, meticulously investigated, no stone will be left unturned. Any person who possesses material of this nature will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
