A video of a woman screaming in a child’s face at a Kamala Harris rally in Houston on Friday has sparked widespread criticism online. The incident quickly went viral, drawing condemnation from social media users and political observers.
“Kamala Harris’ latest endorsement! Jordan Sierra Bowen, PAID organizer for the Harris Campaign, endorsed Harris in the only way liberals know how to react to people who disagree with them… violence, mainly violence against children! Absolutely unacceptable!” said @HallmarkJosephH on X.
“Jordan Sierra Bowen is trending in The US because that’s the name of the young woman who’s currently receiving harsh criticism for this viral video of her screaming in a toddler’s face,” said @trendingblog247 on X.
However, the woman in the video has never worked for or volunteered with the Harris County Democratic Party (HCDP) and was identified by journalists on X as a woman from California.
In a statement Saturday, the HCDP said, “We are aware of a video circulating of a woman screaming at a child, apparently outside of the Kamala Harris rally. The person depicted in that video is not and has never been an employee of HCDP or TPD. Any outlet claiming to have identified this person as such is spreading misinformation.”
The footage shows the woman engaged in a heated exchange that has been met with backlash across platforms, particularly on X, where users have questioned her conduct and her association with the Democratic Party. Another woman immediately steps in to stop the barrage of screaming.
The video’s continued circulation online has heightened public interest in her identification and background.
