TAMPA, Fla. – It was one of those times where most of the Bucs players couldn’t even find the words to describe what happened Monday Night. Not only were they dominated by the Baltimore Ravens but also lost their star wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Bucs outside linebacker YaYa Diaby still can’t believe it.

“Damn man, especially Chris, just pray for him and his family, ya know,” Diaby said. “He was having such an amazing year. Then for Mike, we need him as well. You know, I don’t know what his story is, but I hope he can get well.”

Godwin dislocated his ankle, while Evans re-injured his hamstring. Evans caught a Baker Mayfield pass in the end zone on the Bucs opening drive. It was his 100 career scoring catch and it looked like he was going to get another.

He couldn’t hold on to the football as he was being tackled in the end zone and that ended his night. Godwin got hurt at the end of the game catching  a pass over the middle. He got his leg trapped underneath him by Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith. Mayfield was blunt when asked how he felt.

“Just absolutely sucks,” Mayfield said. “Yeah it sucks for our team, but Chris deserves better than that. He’s an unbelievable guy, unbelievable teammate. Yeah, got a heavy heart right now..”
