Comedian Jim Gaffigan got interrupted mid-speech Thursday after telling a joke related to Republican nominee Donald Trump’s infamous “grab ’em by the p*ssy” comment.

Trump came under major scrutiny in October 2016 after a leaked recording featured Trump telling television host Billy Bush that women allow celebrities like himself to “grab ’em by the p*ssy.” Gaffigan made a joke revolving around that statement at the annual Al Smith Dinner, a white-tie Catholic charity event, as the former president and former first lady Melania Trump sat in the audience.

“You know, during the first and only debate, President Trump talked about migrants taking cats and eating them. You know, if you’re keeping track at home, this is the second time grabbing a kitty has been part of a campaign issue,” Gaffigan said.

“We talked about leaving that out,” the woman is heard saying.

Trump said during the Sept. 10 presidential debate that Haitian migrants are “eating” cats and dogs in Springfield, Ohio. His statement stemmed from unproven rumors brought forth by some residents of the area, who alleged that migrants were eating cats and beheading ducks in the public parks.

Vice President Kamala Harris broke decades of tradition by not attending the charity dinner and instead submitted a pre-recorded video to be aired during the event. “Saturday Night Live” actress Mary Katherine Gallagher crashed her video to tell the vice president not to say “anything negative” about Catholics, followed by Harris praising the Catholic Church and citing the Gospels.
