PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco County Supervisor of Elections, Brian E. Corley, reminds residents that the deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is quickly approaching. The last day to request a ballot by mail is Thursday, October 24th, at 5:00 PM.

Voters can easily request a ballot online at PascoVotes.gov/VBM_Request or by calling 800-851-8754.

While the deadline to request a mail-in ballot is October 24th, voters can pick up ballots in person at any of the three Supervisor of Elections offices until Saturday, October 26th. However, once early voting begins on October 21st, Florida law prohibits picking up mail-in ballots at elections offices except in emergency situations. Voters facing such circumstances must provide an affidavit explaining their need to pick up a ballot after early voting has commenced.

For those picking up a ballot on behalf of another voter, a written request from the voter designating the individual as authorized to receive the ballot is required. The designee must also present photo identification and complete an affidavit before the ballot will be released.

All voted ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections office by 7:00 PM on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5th. This includes ballots returned by mail. Voters can also drop off their completed ballots at any of the 13 Early Voting Sites during the early voting period from October 21st to November 2nd. Importantly, ballots cannot be turned in at polling places on Election Day.

For Early Voting locations and further information, please visit PascoVotes.gov. Voters can also track the status of their mail-in ballot at PascoVotes.ballottrax.net/voter/.
