“Oops, I Did It Again”: Bartow Man Arrested After Driving With Revoked License (and More)

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 37-year-old Bartow man on Sunday, October 13th, after a traffic stop revealed multiple violations.

Aaron Dean Weeks was seen driving a Jeep in Fort Meade around 2:24 PM by a deputy who recognized him from previous encounters. The deputy was aware that Weeks had a warrant for his arrest and a revoked driver’s license.

Upon conducting the traffic stop, the deputy discovered that the Jeep was not registered and Weeks had no insurance. Furthermore, a shotgun and ammunition were found inside the vehicle. As a convicted felon, Weeks is prohibited from possessing firearms.

Weeks was arrested on an outstanding warrant and transported to the Polk County Jail.

He faces charges of driving with a revoked license, operating an unregistered vehicle, lack of insurance, and possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.
