HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County Public Schools will remain closed on Tuesday, October 15th, as recovery efforts continue following Hurricane Milton. Despite ongoing work, the district needs more time to ensure schools are safe for students and staff.
Many schools are still experiencing power outages and flooding, and food deliveries are delayed. Additionally, hazardous road conditions and malfunctioning traffic signals pose safety concerns.
