POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Polk County residents showed their resilience on Wednesday, October 9th, and Thursday, October 10th, as they began the process of cleaning up and recovering from Hurricane Milton.

The community came together to help those affected by the storm, with a focus on northwest Lakeland, which experienced significant flooding due to heavy rainfall.
