PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A multi-agency effort is underway to rescue residents stranded by rising floodwaters from the Anclote River in Pasco County. The flooding, a result of Hurricane Milton, has impacted the area of Mitchell Boulevard and Little Road.

Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco is on scene, joining forces with Pasco County Fire Rescue, the National Guard, the Florida State Guard, and other law enforcement partners to conduct water rescues.

Approximately 60 people have been rescued from the floodwaters so far, and rescue efforts are ongoing.
