BREAKING NEWS: U.S. Marshals Arrest Tampa Murder Suspect in New Jersey

TAMPA, Fla. – TPD responded to the Tzadik Oaks Apartments complex a call of someone being shot on September 13, 2020.  Officers encountered a deceased male victim. During the investigation, detectives learned the defendant, Christina Robles, was involved.  Detectives continued the investigation, including the review of video surveillance, along with locating and interviewing eyewitnesses. On October 21st, 2020, detectives secured an arrest warrant for Christina Robles.

Information was received that Robles had fled to New Jersey.  The Fugitive Apprehension Unit was contacted and they developed information leading to the probable location where Robles was living in New Jersey.  FAU made contact with US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force in New Jersey and provided them with the possible location of the defendant. The New Jersey task force did locate and arrest Robles on November 2, 2020.

Robles is currently incarcerated in the Essex County jail – New Jersey. The shooting remains under investigation.
