Businesses on barrier islands should use this time to prepare their property and are advised not to operate. Rideshare services will be allowed to help transport people off the islands, and debris removal crews can continue their work as long as it is safe to do so.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office will maintain a strong presence on the islands to protect property until conditions become unsafe.

Evacuation and Shelter Information:

Residents are urged to find their evacuation zone and locate shelter information at www.disaster.pinellas.gov.
