Pasco County Expands Mandatory Evacuations To Zone C, Opens Additional Shelter

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco County has issued a mandatory evacuation order for Zone C as Hurricane Milton threatens the area with life-threatening storm surge and hurricane-force winds.

Who Must Evacuate:

  • Residents of Evacuation Zones A, B, and C.
  • Residents of manufactured homes, mobile homes, or RVs anywhere in Pasco County.
  • Residents in low-lying areas or areas prone to flooding.
  • Residents in structures with a history of flooding during heavy rain.
  • Residents in areas under mandatory evacuation orders from local authorities.

Shelter Information:

Pasco County shelters are open. An additional shelter will open at Sunlake High School (3023 Sunlake Boulevard, Land O’ Lakes) tomorrow, October 8th, at 9 a.m.
