PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 22-year-old man from Dade City lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on US-301 at around 12:52 PM on Thursday.
Florida Highway Patrol said the man was driving a Chevy Malibu southbound on US-301. As he approached Crystal Way, he attempted to pass slower traffic by using the left turn lane.
He lost control of the vehicle, veered onto the right shoulder, and overturned. The impact ejected him from the car.

Emergency services transported the driver to a nearby hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
