Tarpon Springs Teenager Injured In Overnight Shooting

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – A 17-year-old was shot in Tarpon Springs, Florida, late Monday night. Tarpon Springs Police responded to the incident at 1432 Starlight Cove around 11:11 p.m. on September 25, 2024. The victim sustained a single gunshot wound that is not considered life-threatening.

The suspect fled the scene in a light-colored four-door sedan, possibly white or silver. The vehicle may have damage on the passenger side from the shooting.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Melton at 727-938-2849. They believe this to be an isolated incident.
