Pittsburgh Man Convicted Of Trafficking Large Amounts Of Fentanyl And Cocaine

PITTSBURGH, Fla. – A federal jury found Leon C. Ford, 58, guilty of conspiring to distribute large quantities of cocaine and fentanyl.

The conviction stems from a long-term investigation by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF), which revealed Ford’s involvement in drug trafficking between March and September 2021. Evidence presented during the trial included intercepted conversations, seized drugs and drug proceeds.

Ford, who has a prior federal drug conviction, now faces a minimum of 15 years and up to life in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for January 2025.
