St. Petersburg Police Seek Help Identifying Man Who Fled Serious Crash

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man who fled the scene of a serious traffic crash on September 19th. The crash occurred at the intersection of 54th Avenue North and 12th Street North and left the 18-year-old driver of a Chevy pickup truck in critical but stable condition.

The man being sought was driving a 2006 Toyota Avalon in the crash. He is described as a black male, approximately 25 years old, 5-foot-6, with a thin build and broad shoulders.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, pink and white shorts, white sneakers, and had pink fabric, possibly a shirt or towel, wrapped around his head.

Witnesses reported that the man was picked up by another vehicle shortly after the crash and left the area.
