A federal grand jury in Florida has indicted William Kameron Ellis Taylor, a 29-year-old man from Chula Vista, California, on charges of transporting and possessing child sexual abuse materials and failing to register as a sex offender.
If found guilty, Ellis Taylor could face a minimum of 15 years and up to 40 years in federal prison.

The indictment alleges that U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents apprehended Ellis Taylor at Cape Canaveral upon his return from an international cruise to The Bahamas. Upon inspection, agents discovered a cell phone and an SD card in his possession that contained explicit videos and images of child sexual abuse.
Ellis Taylor had a prior conviction for possessing child sexual abuse material in 2017 in California, which obligated him to register as a sex offender under federal law. He allegedly violated this law by failing to notify the relevant authorities of his international travel plans.
