HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has taken a 13-year-old Horizon Charter School student, Tiago Gonzalez, into custody after he allegedly threatened to use a weapon at the school on his Snapchat account.
Gonzalez reportedly posted a message asking “which weapon” he should use at the school.

The HCSO’s School Threat Assessment and Response Team swiftly responded to the threat and arrested Gonzalez.
It’s been noted that Gonzalez’s parents own firearms, but they are securely stored in a safe at their home.
