Missouri Man Gets Over 6 Years For Fentanyl Possession After Bizarre Dog-Tossing Incident

A St. Louis man received a 75-month prison sentence on Thursday after being caught with guns and fentanyl in a bizarre incident involving a French bulldog thrown from a window.

Last October, police investigating the theft of two French bulldogs arranged a meeting to buy the dogs back. They arrested the seller outside her apartment, but as they approached the unit, someone tossed one of the dogs out the window.

Inside, police found Landon Allen, 24, hiding in a closet, along with a bag of fentanyl capsules, pill-making equipment, and firearms.

Allen pled guilty in June to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. The case was investigated by multiple agencies and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Donald Boyce.
